Atmospheric water harvesting & biomimetic evaporation reduction
LogWater & ERIS
LogWater deploys field-deployable atmospheric water generation (AWG) combined with advanced multi-stage purification to produce 10,000+ litres of potable water daily. Units are mounted on ruggedised truck chassis for rapid humanitarian deployment in arid zones and crisis situations across the Sahel, Horn of Africa, and Arabian Peninsula. ERIS (Evaporation Reduction Intelligent System) is a patented system of independent, self-positioning collaborative floaters designed through biomimicry — inspired by the symbiosis of duckweed on marshes. Developed by Elbé Petro, ERIS achieves maximum surface coverage through permanent rearrangement, preventing fluid evaporation in petrochemical storage, potable water reservoirs, and industrial tanks. The technology received the 1st Prize of Innovation from GEP-AFTP (the French Association of Hydrocarbon Professionals) and the Environment Trophy from UIC (Union des Industries Chimiques). ERIS has been recognised by the Solar Impulse Foundation as an Efficient Solution for environmental protection.
